Playing a part in crime prevention.
After Effects of Vandalism
CPL Lim Tips and Viewpoint
This is what CPL Lim said when our reporter, Ms Ong Jia Min, interviewed him about tips and views on vandalism. "Maybe you've heard that vandalism is just mischief and does not hurt anyone but in reality, it is not true. If you want to help in curbing vandalism, for students, you can get your club and class to start an anti-vandalism campaign and for the others you can help by cleanning up properties as debris can be tools for vandals and try to educate more for the public about the effects of vandalism and to disacourage future vandalism for taking place. Most importantly, if you ever spotted such cases or people vandalising something, report to us police so we can take action."
Car Vandalism from Ms & Mr Loo Talkalot
There's been an increasing rise in Vandalism in the past few years and there is many instances of people being affected by the it.
Our Reporter interviewed Ms and Mr Loo Talkalot from Block 12. They were victims from a recent car vandalism two months ago, where their car was defaced and given a new paint job with graffiti and having their tyres spoiled. This is what the couple feels "I think it is some youth prankster who has nothing to do and had given my car a complete undesirable makover. I even saw some of them wearing a hoodie and donning a gas mask who was near my car and i assumed that they are the young group of people who defaced my car. This is preposterous!"
